Bringing a taste of Greece to sunny Brisbane, we worked with restaurateur Jonathan Barthelmess (The Apollo Sydney, The Apollo Ginza, and Cho Cho San Sydney) to create Greca—a contemporary taverna inside the heritage listed Howard Smith Wharves.
Responding to the nature of the site, and the restaurant’s waterside location, we created an identity that merges a sense of the laid-back, alfresco Australian lifestyle, with modern Greek hospitality.
Across Greca’s light-filled space, a sense of playful naivety is evidenced in an identity that’s referential to Greek culture.
Greca is the type of uncomplicated, consistently satisfying place that always feels like home.
